Need for the Connector

We are certain that ABDM compliance is not something where a competent IT team would have an unsurmountable tech challenge however, we believe that it is all about managing the limited high-end resources for the roadmap priorities and outsourcing Interoperability to a capable partner who can manage the dynamism of ABDM versions during the initial storming, norming phases. Together we move towards the performing phase faster.

Prior to the launch of OneHCX Connector, we have enabled ABDM compliance / certification of more than 130+ healthcare Informatics companies. Initially the scope was limited and the compliance norms were not very stringent. We started with the model of customized development and a policy of handing over the control including the code for the bespoke development to our clients. However, soon ABDM specifications have become more demanding and comprehensive. This trend is expected to continue as Indian Care interoperability is still at a very nascent stage. Based on the request from most of our customers we have discontinued the customized development model wef April 1, 2024 and have introduced a new platform ‘OneHCX’ as an annual subscription . One of the modules of this platform is ‘ABDM Connector’ for milestones M1, M2 & M3 of ABDM.

This platform embeds learning of 130+ accounts that we did in the past and manages version changes at the platform level to shield or minimize (cannot be eliminated entirely) the impact on existing integration for the client’s systems. ABDM compliance is not a one time activity and it needs engagement of key organizational resources on an on-going basis. Our clients prior to the launch of OneHCX realized that they can save up to 2 FTEs per year if they chose OneHCX instead of the bespoke development and therefore opted for OneHCX Subscription on saaS!
